Responsible for repairing of trailers, preventative maintenance on trailers, repair and maintenance of shop equipment, perform federal inspection on trailers, electrical repair of tractors and trailers and engine repair. Working knowledge of Caterpillar and Cummins engines and good knowledge of 12 volt electrical systems, air brake system, truck tire repair, mounts and dismounts. Able to work in all weather conditions and have own hand tools-company will supply larger tools. Complete necessary paper work for repairs and lift up to 60 pound on a routine basis. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
